Albany Chapter of the IGDA: Are you a local developer? The local chapter of the IGDA meets regularly and is a great place to meet up with other developers in the Capital Region. Games in Education: Started in 2006, the Games in Education Symposium is a yearly event hosted for local educators, and provides a forum for best practices, connections, and inspiration as it relates to using the exciting new media of games to support education. Upstate Artists Guild: Are you a local artist? The Upstate Artists Guild is a not-for-profit volunteer organization, open to all, which promotes the appreciation, practice and enjoyment of art.
